Yes, it is right outside Temple tube station on Victoria Embankment.
Is your venue licensed to carry out civil weddings?
Yes, the Court Room, the Model Room, and the Quarter Deck are licensed for civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.
What authority do you come under and can you supply names and contact details for the registrar?

Will ours be the only wedding at your venue on our wedding day?
Yes, we only hold one wedding at a time.
How many people can you accommodate? For a seated dinner we can accommodate up to 120 guests, for a standing reception up to 180 guests.
How many car parking spaces are available?
There are no car parking spaces available on board or on Victoria Embankment, however, there is parking in the vicinity, much of which is free after 18:30.
Do you allow confetti to be thrown at the venue?
Yes, provided it is biodegradable, such as freeze-dried petals. You can buy this from all good stationery shops.
Do you allow candles to be lit in the reception room?
Yes, we allow our own candles to be lit in the reception room, which we will provide for you. There are restrictions on some other types of candles in order to protect the carpet and soft furnishings.
Do you have a noise limiter fitted or can we turn the music all the way up?
There is a noise limiter installed. You can still have the disco loud and have a good time, however, we do have to consider other residents nearby.
Do you allow professional firework displays at your venue?
No, unfortunately for health and safety reasons, fireworks are not allowed.
Do you have landing permission should we want a helicopter to whisk us away after the evening reception?
No, but we do have the license to allow you to arrive/leave the ship by boat. Please ask our Wedding Planner for more information.
Are there separate rooms provided for the wedding, reception, meal, evening reception, etc.?
You have the exclusive use of the venue for the day and you can use the rooms however you wish.
Is there a room provided for the use of “bride and groom” for the day?
You have the exclusive use of the venue for the day, so you can set one of the smaller spaces aside for this.
Is there an area that could be used as a crèche if needed?
Yes, you have the exclusive use of the venue for the day, so you can set one of the spaces aside for this. We would advise that children must be well supervised at all times.
When can we have access to begin setting up the room in terms of decorating it with balloons, flowers, banners, etc.?
This depends on what your hire period is. Usually, you have access from midday, but if you need to have access earlier then that is available (costs may apply).
Do you have a room where you are able to store wedding presents until you are able to collect them and are you insured for any loss or damage to these presents?
We will store presents for you if you require us to, however, we do prefer you to take everything with you at the end of the evening. We do not accept any liability for any items left on HQS Wellington.
Can I choose to have an outside caterer?
No, all catering must be provided in-house by our hospitality partner, Searcys.
